Exercise One: Gratitude in Motion

Do this exercise anytime you want to generally lift your mood, feel inspired, or become more mindful of those around you that are doing great things

Time: Approx. 5 Minutes

This exercise is broken down into a three step process and requires a pen and paper (or some other note-taking apparatus like a computer or mobile device).

STEP 1: Write down something you’re truly grateful for. If you have time, write down three things you’re grateful for.

STEP 2: Write down a few “wins” (or at least one “win”) you experienced yesterday.

STEP 3: Write three short thank you letters (with no expectation of response or reciprocity) to those that positively influence you in your life.
